Classical and Jazz trained trombonist, Multi Genre Electronic and Hip-Hop producer, Audio Engineer and Sound Technician. These are yet of many traits and skills of 7cy (sev-en-see), otherwise known as Riley. CEO, President and Co-Founder of Green Street Collective, 7cy/Riley is driven to create and foster independent, unprecedented art in all of its forms.

Riley Lincoln / 7cy has had the itch since he was a kid. A nerdy child with a penchant for starring in home video dance battles with himself, he became fascinated with trombone at 11 years old, and throughout middle school and high school studied Classical and Jazz Trombone. During and after this time Riley not only spent 10+ years mastering Trombone performance, but also learned Euphonium, Tuba, Piano, Electric Bass, and a wide variety of percussion instruments; and performed in several County Honor Symphony Bands, High School and Collegiate Symphonies and Orchestras, Jazz Big Bands, a Jazz Combo he co-founded, The Healdsburg Youth Jazz Festival (placing 1st and 3rd within a 3 year span), The Dave Brubeck Jazz Institute Summer Camp, and several more bands of varying genres and styles. Upon moving from Northern California to Los Angeles in 2019, the split between Riley and 7cy (seven-see) began to form. Repressed interests and beliefs formed conscious splits in personality and reality, and a new obsession with noise began. 7cy became entranced with the sounds of the night, and how he could feel the electricity of the city pulsating and ebbing as the energies in the world did too. Music became synonymous with life. And after Covid-19 and a series of unique life circumstances, the sounds that Riley and 7cy begun to create mirrored that shift in reality. Forever fascinated with the culture of the underground, and the preservation of artistic expression and individuality without the compromise of capitalism, fascism, or gentrification, 7cy enveloped himself in the world and the noise that reverberates every inch of it. You can find him chaining FX buses endlessly making crazy synths for his music productions ranging from Left Coast Hip Hop, to Wonky Instrumental Trip-Hop, Hardcore Industrial, 140 DnB , music with way too much bass in it, or whatever the actual f--- you want to use to describe the noise he makes. He also frequents many mosh pits, dance floors, and DJ booths as he tears up the floor wherever he goes. He currently works with Overkill Audio on a Funktion-One sound system, running live audio and lights at a variety of shows across Los Angeles and Southern California. With a passion for truly all innovative and thought provoking music; genres do little to summarize Riley/7cy's musical range, but some examples of his experience and interest lies in: Electronic Music (DnB, IDM, Subbass, Ambient, Jungle, etc), Hip-Hop (Left Coast, Boom-Bap, Trip-Hop, West Coast, etc), Rock (Hardcore, Punk, Psychedelic, Ska, etc) and really like any music that is actually trying to be something. With over a decade of experience recording a wide variety of musical artists, creating music, and running/attending shows, Riley/7cy is here to foster, create, and inspire other creatives to be their best self, and make impactful art that spans the contingency of time.
My intentions.
I, Riley Lincoln (aka 7cy) am Co-founding and running GSC under a specific ethos and set of beliefs. We are a safe haven for independent artists and creatives to gather and create community around their artwork. All creative endeavors, (Music, Physical Art, Performance, Videography, etc) are extensions of our internal reflections and highlight the way in which we are able to share our stories without inhibition. We as artists have the extraordinary ability to change the perception of the world we live in, and are responsible for doing so in an evocative, loving, and limitless way. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, staunch Anti-Fascist, Anti-Racist, Anti-Zionist. Anti-AI, and Abolitionist amongst other beliefs, I will stand firmly with each and every artist who seeks to use our space as an haven for hate-free, community uplifting, meaningful extraordinary art. I do not condone Genocide, Totalitarianism, Mass Deportation, and an endless list of crimes against humanity. Any individual who tries to enter GSC, or one of our spaces, and perpetuate these hateful rhetorics will be expelled and barred from any and all of our services. Don't like that or don't agree with me? Fuck off then! We do not need or want your business or shitty, unoriginal slop.
