Service Description
Book a recording session to record your song/track/album here at The Jungleground. This "small" session is for bookings including 3 or fewer musicians. Choose between the GSC collective member who is best suited for your style, and they will be your dedicated producer and engineer for the duration of your session. Each of us here at GSC has complete mastery of all analog and digital gear in The Jungleground, so worry not! We have spent years honing our crafts as not only independent artists, but as professional recording and sound engineers. In The Jungleground you will have access to dozens of instruments, microphones and analog devices as well as countless digital instrument and effect plugins. With our inventory constantly expanding, we offer a unique music gear collection available nowhere else for these prices. Bookings are priced $35 an hour for "small" sessions discounting to $30 an hour if you book 4 or more hours at a time. Payments are made 50% up front, 50% at the end of the session. To note, this is the rate for recording sessions, IE sessions where you, the artist, have a specific project you are looking to record. We each give our own affordable rates for these things as well.
Cancellation Policy
In order to maintain our studio as a safe and supportive space for independent collaboration on an affordable level, GSC requires that you follow the policies listed below and reserves the right to deny services to you if you violate these policies. We here at Green Street Collective pride ourselves in being a safe space for all individuals in all situations. Individuals participating in a recording session are asked to maintain respect for the people present and the studio space and equipment. Negligent behavior, physical or verbal abuse, disrespect, or hate speech will not be tolerated. Examples of this include but are not limited to; showing up to a session dangerously intoxicated, the presence of guests not previously approved by GSC, conducting business on the property without prior approval of GSC, theft, property destruction, and physical or verbal abuse.. If you must cancel your studio session for any reason, please give your producer/engineer a call. If you provide 12 hours notice from the start of your session to cancel your studio time, there will be no fee. However, artists who provide less than 12 hours cancellation notice will be charged 50% of the price of their session. For example: if you book a 2 hour vocal tracking session which would be a total of $70, you would owe $35 as a late cancellation fee. If you are a no show who does not call to cancel before the start of your session, you will still owe the full price of said session. We understand that life is unpredictable and unforgiving, and extenuating circumstances will be considered. In addition to these points, We reserve the right to have any member of GSC cancel a session at any time for any reason surrounding the safety and security of all parties involved, or for any other justifiable reason. This is unlikely to ever happen, but is reserved in the off chance an unprecedented situation arrises. We here at GSC seek to provide unparalleled audio services at an affordable rate. These booking sessions are reserved for artists who are looking to use Us as audio engineers. One of Us will act as the producer/engineer operating our Digital and Analog equipment, and DAW.
